This screen shot shows one of the two testing techniques available called "drag and drop". Blue circles denote the frets being tested which are set up by the user. Randomly a note name is placed in a box below the neck. The user drags the box over one of the frets. If the the box is placed over the correct fret, the circle turns green. If the box is placed in an incorrect position it slides back to the original position.
